This innovative project renovates and adapts the city’s historic electricity company hangar into a contemporary public space and special flea market that promotes Jordanian art, craft and cuisine.

 One of the objectives of the project will be to preserve and acknowledge Amman’s heritage of modernity and to showcase and narrate the story of the electrification of the city.

 This rehabilitation and adaptation of Amman’s are industrial heritage is very innovative and falls within the boarder attempts that GAM are undertaking regarding the protection and conservation of Amman’s social and urban heritage.
